This work is about the devastating and brutal harm of child sexual abuse perpetrated by protected pedophiles within the Catholic Church.

Raised Catholic, and in a family directly impacted by institutional abuse, this work refers to the trauma inflicted by the perpetrators and the religious indoctrination that facilitates the grooming of victims.

‘Wounded’ is also a testament to the strength of the survivors and a monument to those who lost their lives.

Each building on these brass knuckles represents a church or cathedral of my childhood and the violent personal damage they caused my family and many others.
