Fortress, made from red gum and nails, refers to home as a place of sanctuary. This concept is especially relevant during the COVID-19 pandemic where our homes (for most people) have become a bastion and safe-haven from the real risk of contagion in the outside world.

Fortress was exhibited as part of the Your Place Exhibition at Brunswick Street Gallery in March, 2021.
